Hi everyone -

Sorry for the probably "obvious" questions, but I am newly diagnosed and honestly it's too much to read stuff online right now from the zillions of websites that are out there. And its hard to dicern fact from myth from fiction.

Last night I woke up in a sweat and screaming for my husband to turn off the heat. I was sweating but shivering from cold at the same time. I took my temp and I had a 102.1 temp.

I took some tylenol and drank a bunch of water and I woke up this morning and the fever was gone (still feeling regular symptoms through.

Are fevers a sign the doxy is working? I feel like Ive been getting progressively worse since I started the oral doxy...and I NEVER get fevers.

Any insight into this new mystery for me would be most appreciated [Smile]

Blessings -

So far, I was diagnosed with lyme - I havent been told if I have any of the other things that go along with it (bart, babs, etc). I just got an appointment with a LLMD for March 5th (yay!) so hopefully Ill get more answers then.
