Please need help finding LLMD doctor. My sister has had on going psychiatric problems for years and are only getting worse. She has been on every anti-anxiety,anti-depressant,bi-polar, and currently on 20 mg. Zyprexa,400mg. of Lyrica. Test for Lyme Western Blot IgM 41 postive just came back, Bartonella PCR negative,Babesia PCR negtive. Has not had chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia or other symptoms of LD except psychiatric. Put on Lyric so she could sleep. Also had Triple Negative breast cancer finished chemotherapy in October 09, which made her even worse. Paced floors for days with her, OCD terrible etc, etc. any info would help.
From everything i have read it would mean a recent infection of LD however this would not explain al of these problems for the last 5 years or more would it?

steelbone,

have you tried the medsonix yourself?
I assume it is only for pain or can it help heal
the infection?

Band 41 only, which lab had done the test?

I wonder if a biofilm test at frylabs.com would help.It shows several bugs.
I have 41 only and the biofilm test was very good for me.

Could it be a toxic problem because of the chemotherapy?

Is she off MSG and artificial sweeteners?

Sorry I can't help, just some ideas.

Coule mold be in her environment, it could cause these problems.

Read this.... better yet... print it out!!

Western Blot Explanation
http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/42077

From the above link (Dr C of MO):

"With most infections, your immune system first forms IgM antibodies, then in about 2 to 4 weeks, you see IgG antibodies. In some infections, IgG antibodies may be detectable for years.

Because Borrelia burgdorferi is a chronic persistent infection that may last for decades, you would think patients with chronic symptoms would have positive IgG Western blots.

But actually, more IgM blots are positive in chronic borreliosis than IgG. Every time Borrelia burgdorferi reproduces itself, it may stimulate the immune system to form new IgM antibodies.

Some patients have both IgG and IgM blots positive. But if either the IgG or IgM blot is positive, overall it is a positive result.

Response to antibiotics is the same if either is positive, or both. Some antibodies against the borrelia are given more significance if they are IgG versus IgM, or vice versa."

Did you post this in Seeking a Doctor so someone can send you a list of LLMD's in FL??

The test was done through LabCorp follow up tests are being done by Quest and then I guess we can try Igenex. She was getting Vitamin C IV therapy before the results of this test because of her breast cancer but, mainly her mental health issues. Seemed to get some what better after the first 7 treatments, went back 5 weeks later and had another 5 treatments, then was better for a week or two and then has regressed considerably went back again after 5 weeks and had another 5 treatments. As of today not doing so good. After first two treatments she calmed down, anxiety level at 2-3 instead of 10+++, OCD disappeared. Now it is all back. However must note that she was started on Zyprexa 20 mg. at bedtime and Lyrica 50 mg. am,50mg. mid-day, and 200mg. at bedtime. dropped the Zyprexa to 15 mg. a week ago to see if it helps. We have had problems in the past where a medicine will work for a week or two and then she is right back to where she was before the medicine. Don't know if this is the case or not...
More labs came back she has a beef allergy, and high sensitivity to A----- Niger Mold and above reference range of Cadmium,Tin, and Antimony but, then again she smokes non-stop. She knows this makes her more anxious but, she say's she can't stop. We have her on a half hour schedule but if she is not constantly monitored she will sneak more.

No, i messed up and did not post i seeking a doctor.
Thanks for all of the info. everyone...
