for almost a week now, i've had the strangest thing happen...i've been severely itchy (basically head to toe, random places being worse at times) yet there's no rash or bumps or anything like that...it feels more of like pinching sensations EVERYWHERE and electric shocks, so i assume it's more of a neuro thing...but if i start itching (which it's really hard not to), it all gets worse, which makes no sense to me since obviously there's no rashes or anything like that on my skin...make sense to anybody?

i'm new to lyme, but recently, i found out i was severely deficient in vitamin d...i know that some people have regulation issues with that and i've read around, but for the longest time now, i've been mostly inside, so it made sense

my level was 9 and recently i had it retested and it's 38...i've read a lot about vitamin d and your immune system, and when i looked into vitamin d herx's, a lot of older topics showed people saying they've had one or thought they were...could this be the reason i'm herxing, if i am? because i'm not taking anything else, nor have i been, and i know that i was legitimately severely deficient in vitamin d

You're not taking any antibiotics? How do you know you have lyme disease? Tell us more about your diagnosis if you don't mind.

a little over a year ago, a doctor i had tested through igenix...here's the results:

IGM: http://i48.tinypic.com/5wduv.jpg
IGG: http://i48.tinypic.com/sw3j87.jpg

i'm not sure what bands mean what, if that's the case, but there they are to look at it

unfortunately, i had a lot of problems with that doctor and didn't see him anymore, so i was left in the dark with things for about a year...i've seen a doctor that knows about lyme recently that i think is a really good doctor (and has a lot of patients), but long story short, i haven't been taking anything at the moment....just the vitamin D

i've heard that if you're legitly low in vitamin d (not having regulation issues), supplementing it can kind of jump start your immune system and is like a natural antibiotic, so that's why i was curious

Itching was a symptom of lyme/coinfections with my 3 year old daughter. It seemed worse when she had just woken up from sleeping, but it happened at other times too. She would itch really hard and whine b/c it was so bad.

It went away with treatment.

yeah, i've heard of that happening...the thing is, i've been sick for a couple of years and never had that or the extreme pinching sensations, just this week

a majority of my symptoms this whole time have been mental/neuro, but those were two that i've never had

Many docs think if you have even one specific band it should be pursued. Because you have 58 I would seek treatment.

It took me around 2 years to get to the pinching stabbing pains. Some were worse than others but they usually occurred after working.
