I know there have been other headache threads but I am curious if any one else out there suffers similar symptoms...

I was diagnosed with Lyme's last month after seeing doctors for three years regarding my headaches, abdominal pain, and dizziness.

My headaches are weird - they seem to all be isolated in the left hemisphere of my brain and mostly behind my eye and in my temple. I get bouts of pressure on my eye from time to time and feel like there is constant inter-cranial pressure. The headache basically started 3 years ago and hasn't left since. Most days it's about a 5-6 with spikes of 10+. Since I started treatment the headaches have gotten so bad I feel like I'm dying.

Just want to know if anyone else suffers similar headaches that are isolated like this. I'm going crazy over these damn things.

I would say you are hitting them if it has gotten worse. Most lyme patients suffer in one way or

another on treatment. It is common to get worse before getting better. As for the headaches I did

not have them but my daughter did. Since starting treatment she has only had 3. So it will get

better. It is important to detox and keep the yeast away and replace electrolytes.

What antibiotic are you taking? The cycline meds (Doxy, Mino, Tetra) can increase your intracranial pressure.

I'm on Doxy and Rifampin. The headaches have decreased a little, but now I've got this horrendous ringing in my ears and pressure on my eye. I think I'm through the worst of it - hopefully I don't have another Herx like that. Yikes.
