before i found this board i was dealing with a man for my digestive system. i had put him on hold until i got to the bottom of the lyme issues, now that my lyme issuses has been addressed, i have resume dealing with him,
he is someone that i deal with online, not in person, but his site has a lot of information on candida and long write up on candida, because i cannot give out his site, without his permission, here is a little bit of his story on candida albicans from his site.
ALL IMMUNOLOGICAL WEAKNESSES AND INFECTIOUS CONDITIONS are made worse by the presence of Candida throughout the body.
Women's Conditions / Candida Albicans (Yeast)
Candida Yeast Infection, both digestive and systemic, is a social and medical dilemma without easy access to answers or remedies of permanence. Literally millions of men and women have a
potential yeast infection that is causing, directly or indirectly, a significant number of existing health problems or conditions. If it is not completely removed and/or the body protected, it will continue to grow and will reduce your
resistance to a host of physical aliments and complications. The devastation and discomforts that await the body because of this insidious and tenacious parasite is immeasurable and in most cases the means of its removal or control is inadequate.
cfs, hhv6, mycobacterium, hsv1, cmv, pirovirus, and Epstein Barr virus.... digestive system

Going from doctor to doctor and product to product is not the answer. It requires special attention and knowledge to overcome a serious to severe yeast infection and the following information will introduce you to a "Candida Yeast Answer Program" that definitely has the advantage of complete and permanent removal of most Candida Yeast conditions. If you have a yeast overgrowth, or if you know of others who are bothered or incapacitated by the presence of a yeast infection, then please read the enclosed information and/or give to those who you feel may benefit. This particular program is remarkably effective and you will find a thorough and scientific explanation that promises and end to a rather difficult situation.

- Your LLPA gave you instructions and prescriptions for dealing with candida. Sure, it is good to study for a deeper understanding of self-care but chasing the rainbow is not likely to bring any better suggestions.
A gluten-free diet, too, has been suggested as that is often very helpful in relieving many GI problems.
Singleton's book "The Lyme Disease Solution" was suggested long ago for its wealth of detail. That is far better than, again, chasing the wind. I hope you can get Singleton's book as it is so valuable in many ways - so much all right there, together. -

Street, I've read about Farr, and I think a lot of what he says has merit, especially about candida and parasites (if you asked me this a year ago I'd tell you he's just another nut in the jar).
I remember reading about someone awhile ago on another board (PH) that had great success with his analysis/advice. But I thought he ran a comprehensive stool test first that you pay for and then when the results come back, you pay for a phone consult to discuss results and possible treatments, which would make more sense. Guess things changed with his approach. For the time being, maybe it's best to not throw $$ away.
It seems like you are trying to tackle this illness from every angle possible all at once, and kudos to you for finding out so much in so little time. Try to take it a step at a time or you'll drive yourself bonkers.
You have taken in an enormous volume of information in a very short period of time and it is extremely overwhelming. Heck, it takes a good year just to learn the lingo of all this!
You have empowered yourself with knowledge. You've done basic things like change your diet, educate yourself and actively seek advice from docs and others here. Keep a folder of all this for future reference. It will serve you well.
In the meantime, hang in there!

its weird, yesterday he got in touch with me, i had email him over the weekend, because i wanted him to do the digestive stool test. and i told him that i got to the bottom of my lyme issue, he told me, that he could still do the lyme test
i would have to pay 260. dollarrs for the kit, and find someone that would draw my blood, then i have to send the kit off, no way im doing any such thing, the blood work would go to some lab where he is at.
i fax him a copy of my lyme test and told him that it is not practical to run another lyme test when i just had one done 2 weeks ago..
this man is trying to do drained every cent out of me, before he gets to the stool test. i have realized, what he is doing so i decided to forget about him and started looking in my area for someone to help me,
i found a nutrionist, that do the test, the man online wanted 479.dollars for the test, and the nutriionist here wants 195, for the visit, then 275 to do the stool test, but i have to shipped it and charge my credit card..
then there was a lady that i was talking too, different people.. and she said her doctor at there office is an ent dr., yet she wanted me to come in on thursday ...
i told her i have no money, at this time, i am paying the IRS, so MY money is going to them, most of it anyways, and that's it for the month. there isn't much of it left. she told me to come in anyways, she said that they
can work something out,i dont know what they are planning, but...im confused with that one, she claims the ent dr, do other things for people.
they suppost to call me tomorrow, i will asked them if they do the stool test, if they say no, im not wasting my time going... i think she felt sorry for me she, heard the sadness in my voice.

$260 is a lot of $$$ for a stool test. Good for you that you aren't throwing $$$ away. From what I know it doesn't cost that much to run a stool sample. And stool samples aren't so reliable for detecting parasites anyway. Sounds like he isn't as good as he has been hyped up to be. You know you already have lyme. He doesn't have to run a test to verify that.
And yikes, the nutritionist wants $275 to do a stool test (which again I've heard isn't reliable)?? On top of $195 for a visit?? Five hundred bucks is a lot of money. You can get plenty of nutritional advice here for nothing lol! Not to mention that $500 buys a lot of good food and supplements. Ask others, but I think you'd be throwing money away by seeing this person.
Also wondering why you should bother seeing an ENT, unless you have some serious ENT issues? I know you are seeking answers, but this just doesn't make sense.
