I need to do Augmentin and will stay on Biaxin. I have done Amoxi/Biaxin w/o problem, but was concerned the clavulanic acid part of Augmentin may not mix w/Biaxin? I looked it up on the drug interactions checker - no interactions found.
But wondering if anyone else did this combo w/o problem such as side effects mainly.
I also didn't ask if I should take at the same time or separate..anyone?

I have been on this combo for 1 1/2 Mo. and am doing real good. It has put me back on the healing track. I take them together, AM and PM. No problems.

I was prescribed this but haven't taken it as I had a reaction to amoxi, which is in augmentin.

I'm on the Aug/Clav, Clarithro, and Flagyl. It's been a lot for my body to handle, but think i'm tolerating it as well as can be expected.
Think the Flagyl in combo with the other 2 are really hitting Bb in its hiding spots.
