Hi! I am a 33 year old female...just diagnosed... These are my results and I'm interested in whether this is a "NEW" disease or has been around awhile. My symptoms have included itchy bumps/rashes for a few months...had a HUGE allergic reaction to an unknown source almost a year ago (had to go to the ER and had a follow up with all allergy tests negative), Major menstrual irregularity issues which aren't new, headaches, anxiety which isn't new either, neck pain, brain fog and low grade fever, kind of often.

No. I figured I would look into that if the treatment doesn't work. I'm on Doxy 100 twice a day for 3 weeks. It doesn't seem strong/long enough??

To kill the spirochetes you should really be on a higher dose. Most here took 400mg per day for 6-8 wks in the beginning.

The IgM is most likely to be positive in chronic cases per Dr C of MO in his Western Blot Explanation. But you have bands on the IgG as well.

Read this and then print it out:

Please do yourself a favor and find a LLMD.

When you get through the first course of treatment, do they test again? It sounds like the test wilkl be more "positive" afterwards so how do they know it's gone? Thanks and also,
Where do I find a LLMD?

Sounds like classic Lyme.

I agree with seeking a LLMD to treat. You would be doing yourself a favor for the rest of your life.

You will get worse before getting better is the norm on treatment.

I would treat until symptoms resolve and then for as long as you and your LLMD agree is necessary based on his expertise.

Go to the Seeking a Doctor board and create a post asking for a LLMD near you.

You will receive a private message in response.
