I hear all the time people dying with drug overdose. Like the two actors just died recently and it says drug addiction and found RX at home.

I am wondering since we take all the ABX and medicines are we at a high risk of drug overdose or what kind of meds are they talking about.

I am a bit worried.

They are taking meds like anxiety and pain medications in exceptionally high dosages and then sometimes mixing that with high amounts of alcohol and/or illegal drugs.

Yeah and I believe they take A LOT of anxiety and pain meds. What we do is just get the abxs to therapeutic levels. Its a totally different kind of thing.

I really hope so. If you think about it ABX should not be so bad except for our gut. That is something that is hit hard with it.

That is why LIVER SUPPORT is vital. That is why all the talk about that. Abx can damage the liver. So does lyme. But that is why most LLMDs require patients to have excellent self-care and take Milk Thistle, etc.

That's also why we need to be careful about taking anything else that is not absolutely necessary if it stresses the liver.

Pain meds, sleep aids and mood prescriptions are the hardest on the liver but, yes, abx can be, too. Even tylenol is very hard on the liver. Mixing and matching is so common for most of the population.

For many of these cases, lack of good sleep hygiene is a factor and alcohol is also involved. AND . . . often failure to seek medical care for pneumonia or the flu. This happens a lot.

I don't really know what the celebrities take but adding alcohol to any drug is a nightmare scenario - even Tylenol.

The Lyme drugs can be harsh, too - so, you do have to be very careful & study the side effects.

Some people have gotten C difficile (spelling?) & have lost their gall bladders to Lyme treatment and had other negative side effects. These things shouldn't be taken lightly.

You just have to weight the dangers with the positive effects. It is good to be aware. It's also good to temper the negative side effects with support - like probiotics & what Keebler was saying.
