After reading the threads in General + Medical about whole food vitamins and partial chemical parts that are sold as vitamins ?

Why ?

Why not ?

Because my supplements have helped me tremendously and I can tell.

But I also get a lot of good whole food nutrition.

Both winners in my book.

Find me one that is guaranteed gluten free. I'm really afraid of these products that contain barley and/or wheat grasses. It would be pretty easy for them to contain actual gluten.

lymetoo... Wheatgrass does not contain gluten because of the time it is harvested...

Because the wheatgrass is young it has not formed those proteins.

"Despite its name, wheatgrass is gluten-free and is suitable for patients with gluten intolerance. Fresh leaf buds of this plant can be crushed to create a juice or dried to make a powder. The unprocessed plant contains high levels of cellulose, which cannot be digested. Wheatgrass juice is the juice extracted from the pulp of wheatgrass and has been used as a general-purpose health tonic for several years."

Massman, thanks again for posting valuable information.

I do agree that whole food vitamins are best. I take a whole food multivitamin (currently by Megafoods).

As I have learned more I have also cut back on many of the singular herbal and vitamin supplements that I had been taking.

I just finished my 40th hyperbaric oxygen treatment today so hopefully soon I'll be able to stop taking some of my medications also!

So, how are you feeling since doing HBOT? Can you really feel the difference? What is the HBOT supposed to do in regards to lyme and co? Does it rid the body of the disease?

Gary
