can someone recommend a good quality fish oil.
I had been taking Pure Encapsulations for awhile, then switched over to Jarrow due to price, but now I am so leary about fish oil... not sure what is the best to take.
any recommendations?

I really like Carlson's. I order them from the Vitamin Shoppe.
Someone here recommended them when I was looking for fish oil capsules that have no taste.

Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega. It is independently tested to show no pollutants. I get it at vitacost.com for the best price.
And it does not repeat on me.

Brian Peskin's Parent Essential Oils are a safe, effective alternative to fish oils.
I am also leary of ANY fish oils and mercury/metal toxicity contained therein because if you read the labels they say there were no "detectable amounts of mercury, lead, or other metals found" but that is entirely subjective to the detecting METHODS which are all different and not mandated very closely.
Basically I don't believe that just because "Carlson's" brand could'nt find any levels or another brand does not mean there are not levels present.
Even brands like Omega Brite, etc, have the same labels.
PEO's are the way to go IMO.
