I was wondering if shortness of breath is associated with lyme? It is a feeling of needing more air. Very wierd and scary. Jocelyn

Yes, you are describing what is known as "air hunger." It is a very common symptom of babesiosis which is a very common co-infection with lyme disease.
Most people with lyme also have babesiosis. About 66% of lymies have it, I understand.
