Hi feelbetter,

I get a lyme headache for three days and off four.

It's not the same as a "true" headache... can't
really explain it... just more painful and burning. Sometimes the headache will be in my left eye also.

If that makes sense to you.

Diagnosed with NDPH (new daily persistant headache) two years ago. I have had a constant headache with pressure pain and dizziness since 2004. You will find many here with the same. Wishing you much success with your treatment!

I've been on ABX treatment for 5 weeks. Just developed NIGHT headaches past 4 nights.

They are not as severe and intense as ones I had years ago. Much like MDW, at that time it would better be described with pains behind the eyes, and the "head in the vase" feeling.

There are common conditions that go along with lyme that can cause daily headaches. I've had daily headaches with sleep apnea (untreated) and hypoglycemia.

Hope you get some relief.

Before diagnosis, I had a daily headache for at least ten years. This should help you figure out a few things as you prepare to see a LLMD.

Magnesium can help a great deal to relieve headache. Fish oil and turmeric, too.

Details are listed in Burrascano's supplement list in your links collection. Singleton's book gets into a more detailed explanation of what can help and why. But I'm not sure either lists Turmeric/Curcumin. It's anti-inflammatory.

my husband has had a headache now for almost
9 years...everyday....and when they started
he had every test known to man...spinal, cut
his temples...all kinds of MRI, MRA, cats, you
name it he had...

in 06 finally got the answer Lyme...but he still
has the head pain...his eye pain is a little better..

so like the others...it could be from the Lyme...

You're not consuming even a trace of ASPARTAME or MSG, right (Google for all the names) ?

No dyes or other artificial ingredients in anything - even in breath mints and toothpaste? Even a trace of some of these things can have a major impact.

Also, a GLUTEN-FREE diet can help a great deal. Most LLMDs want their patients to be gluten-free, anyway as it helps decrease inflammation and pain.

Going SCENT-FREE and using only natural cleaning products is also a good idea and will help your liver.

BioKleen and Seventh Generation are two leaders for safe kitchen and home products. Jason or Avalon Organics are just two for unscented shower gels and shampoos, etc.

Avoiding all other chemicals such as in dry-cleaning, etc. is also vital. If you must get something dry cleaned, go to an eco-safe dry cleaners. Avoid VINYL anywhere you can. It can off-gas forever. Especially, avoid vinyl shower curtains in your bathroom.

Be sure you are not around MOLD.

My sons have had constant, severe headaches for 10+ years. Their headaches are 24/7.
