My DO also provides many alternative treatments and recommends HBOT as a way to help treat my Lyme. Does anyone have any experience with this or thoughts on this treatment? Thank you.

I did 40+ dives. If you do a search using my member # and "HBOT" you should find my experience.
In short, it did help while I was doing it, and I do believe it was killing stuff off, but the gains did not last when I quit.
In essence, it was time consuming, expensive and not the final answer (for me).
Best, Timaca

Hi Summerzen,
I'm sending you a PM because I'm 99% sure that I know your DO. He also recommended a whole slew of alternative treatments for me.
To answer your question about HBOT, I have only recently tried it. I did 40dives, 2 per day, in the monoplace chamber.
I did this in addition to my treatment with IV and oral antibiotic combos. Finished my last dive about 10 days ago.
I guess it is too soon to say if it has helped yet. I did not really have a herx while I was doing the HBOT. I only started to notice more herx like symptoms last week.
So right now I'm continuing with the antibiotics and supplements and hoping to see positive results soon.
If you run a search on HBOT you will come up with some pretty recent threads. Others have posted their experiences there.
When you see a post by WildCondor click on the links below her name. She has a website that covers her whole Lyme journey to wellness. Including 2 articles about HBOT.
My best advice for you, find and begin treatment with an LLMD. Use the local alternative doc as support.
