OK boys I need some positive energy today...
I started my treatment 4 moths ago with:
1. Prostatitis 2. Shooting pains in penis 3. Testicular pain 4. Penis glans inflamation 5. On and off bladder discomfort
1 & 2 went away. 1 confirmed by two urologists today and two weeks ago, 2 confirmed by me...no shooting pains...
Uro today said the rest is from Lyme (surprise surprise...probably because his wife is a Lymie) and I should keep eating my pills...
Need some positive feedback saying...Kastroo it took me 6 months to get rid of urological problems...8 months etc...at least I'll have some hope...

There aren't that many males on this board, but maybe one will come along to help you out.
I can only answer you from a female perpsective and that is bad menstrual cramps and bladder infections are common in women also.
Everyones timeline as far as it getting better is different. It will go away with treatment. Have you tried things like cranberry juice for some relief? Hope this helps some,

I have dealt with prostatis and that has been cleared up on the Marshall Protocol but not have dealt with the other issues.
There are so many variables as in what abx treatment is going to work and what doseage etc. that I think it would be hard to put a timetable for this. Perhaps some other guys might have dealt with all of those issues and tell you what worked for them.

Three out of four in my family has been treated for Lyme... All except hubby. Will have to show him your posts...He gets those symptoms, goes to the uro, get antibiotics and it goes away until next time, doc has no answer..says it just happens....Hubby doesn't believe me that it could be Lyme... Wish I had advice...hang in there it does seem to go away with the antibiotics...

I suffered through these symptoms for many years as well. My urologist and family physician would give me abx and they would resolve for a short time. Especially bothersome was my right testicle would swell to three times its normal size. I also developed a large cyst. After I was finally diagnosed with lyme and began treatment my symptoms dissapated, even the cyst, however it took almost two years. Hang in there, it does get better.

My very first symptom was incredible testicle pain. From there I crashed with a multitude of Lyme symptoms including onging prostate issues. I have been in treatment for 5 years with definite improvement and I was even off meds for a period of about 6 months until I had a flare up. Yep, testicle pain and prostate issues were first again. Got it under control now after about 5 months.
I feel really good now (not 100%, but really good). I have an elevated PSA level, which my uro doesn't want to believe can be from Lyme, but I know it is. If I go on Abx my PSA drops to 2+, if I'm off it goes up to between 4-6. (I'd be curious to know what your PSA is, as most LLMD's don't check that). My prostate symptoms will wax-and-wane during treatment, but are mostly tolerable/manageable and it definitely gets better. They are for me, however, the most recurrent and bothersome of all my symptoms.

Ditto on the symptoms with my junk but also have experienced discomfort in my mid section as well. I have an appointment with my PCP and LLMD next week just in case.

I think what gary suggested about the D mannose is a great idea and not expensive. I added glyco nutrients with my protocol and that was around the time my prostatis started clearing up.
D mannose is one of the ingredients of glyco nutruients and it has a history of clearing up bladder/urinary infections.
