ok, i'm up at 7 this morning bright eyed and bushy tailed...
i feel like the energizer bunny on steroids...
this is my third day on diflucan, 100, per day. i am sooo wired...
i am jittery and feeling like climbing the walls. can't decide whether to cry and scream. i guess i'll clean this house. i can't sit still and feel anxious.
my red fingers have cleared up, my chest feels much better, and my droopy eyes seem to be a little less. also i am less stuffy.
but my shoulders, hips, knees really ache and hurt and i have diahhrea.
also have some abdominal pain. sort of like burning.
can i take probiotics with difulcan? are diflucan or yeast herxes like lyme or worse?
man, i guess i'll go to yardwork or something. i am literally climbing the walls...whoa...
like drinking 10 bottles of energy drink or something....
geez...
sorry if i'm repeating myself. i'm not making any sense, even to me...

Interesting.
Overall, does this seem like a good thing or a bad thing? Hard to tell from your description!

Sounds like cortisol spike
If you have trouble sleeping tonight (wired and tired)
that is a common symptom with adrenal fatigue
sometimes too much stimulation can cause an increase in cortisol thus the wide awake feeling at 4am or 7am or at bedtime

could a primary care test for cortisol or should it be the llmd?
wait, stupid question, if i went in to my primary care and said "hey i think i've got adrenal fatigue or cortisol problems or something", he would totally freak out. and then i'd get some blasted lecture about the net and all.
so who do you go to? would an ob/gyn do it? or better to go to llmd?

I am not sure if its cortisol or adrenaline! Have you been hitting the Red Bull?
Just kidding. I have read the adrenals get mixed
up sometimes and may secrete more of one over the
other. Or the hippocampus goes nuts. Gotta love the circle of hormones.

In the beginning of my treatment I had my cortisol levels checked and I was off the charts high...morning, afternoon, night. I felt in a panic and antsy pretty much constantly.
My doc put me on some adrenal support. Adrenacalm cream and adrenal companion, both morning and night, and I've been using them faithfully.
Last week, I again had my cortisol levels tested because I'm feeling better overall but the morning anxiety is still there.
Sure enough, I've still got a big spike in the morning.
On a positive note though, my levels throughout the day and night have returned to normal.
I'm sure that treating my lyme and co's have helped with the levels coming down, but I'm also sure that the adrenal support has helped tremendously.
Don't know if you're dealing with the same issue, just sharing my experience. That antsy feeling was awful.
