Doc gave it to me but I've had these reactive hypoglycemia symptoms 1-2 hours after I eat... I've posted about this recently, but just to refresh, I get neuro symptoms after I eat.
SOme of you say its from Bart and that it will go away with treatment, which is great.
My question is, if I do have this issue, reactive hypo, then is it safe to take Welchol which can cause hypoglycemia in some people?
I was reading that it was also preceribed to stabilize bood sugar, so maybe it would fix my problem.
When i told my llmd my reaction to eating he said he didn't know why it was happening... at least that's what i think he said. I do know he didn't say what it. I should of pressed the issue, but got off track.
I want to take it, bec it might make me feel better, but dont want to risk an issue if I have some undiagnosed issue.

I took Welchol and didn't have any blood sugar problems. However, my pain levels skyrocketed and all my muscles ached twice as much. After a month of this, I finally did some googling and found that it can indeed cause these symptoms. Two days off of it and I feel much better.
