i heard somebody say yesterday that lyme disease will run a course and then burn itself out and you'll be fine.
so researched online and sure enuff there are actual articles where it says that lyme will burn itself out and you'll have no symptoms after years. so it doesn't matter whether you treat or not.
this is total bull..... these people are crazy. lyme DOES NOT burn itself out.
have you ever heard this? it most certainly is not true but it might lead people to think it does.

Well in that case then why would you even treat it at all, even IDSA treatment wouldn't make sense? Just let it burn out.
Mine had 2 years to burn itself out before I started treatment. And it didn't burn out. As a matter of fact the fire just got bigger.
Maybe they should let TB and AIDS burn out too!

If only that were true...i'm sure many people with lyme wish it was- i suppose in a few people with very robust immmune systems it can "burn itself out" but doctors are not considering all the other factors that come into play because of lyme.
