Given I had to write two reports for the office of Dr. H in New York, I thought those here may find the information valuable or at least interesting.
This first post is on the product Toxex and Pekana's Drainage Kit and it's effects on a very serious case of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity in a patient with Lyme Disease as well as co-infections, including Erhlicia, Bartonella, Babesia, and Borreliosis (Including Burgdorferi)
The second post is information regarding the further treatment of the patient with the Bionic 880, which led to significant improvements in the patient's function. The treatments discussed in both the first and second post are not cures nor even instantaneous, but they are significant enough to report in-case others who have had no results are inclined to investigate.
Lauren, You requested information on the Pekana product Toxex, which appears to have substantially improved Erica's Chemical Sensitivity. The office staff (or you), can print out this letter:
Special Note: The exact combination that allowed Erica to tolerate various chemicals (including antibiotics) was 1-2 months of the Pekana Drainage Kit, beginning with 2dp of each of the three Pekana Drainage products, 2 times per day (not 3, as recommended). She increased by one drop each day on all three, i.e. 3dp ITERS, 3 dp RENLIX, 3dp APO-HEPA, etc. The maximum dose reached on all three products was 25dp x 2. Occasionally, as she felt it was necessary, she took the 25dp three times per day of each of the 3. After Erica was at full dose, she took the Pekana kit for one more month and then added TOXEX. She began taking Toxex at 1dp x 2, then increased by 1 drop each day (i.e. 3dp x 2, then 4dp x 2). Her full dose was 20dp x 2. Erica was only using two other supplements, and no other medications during this entire period when her Chemical Sensitivity responded and improved. She was using Fish Oil by Allergy Research Group, 1000mg x 2. She was using Magnesium Oxide from Vitamin World, 500mg x 3. Erica said she'd been using both the Fish Oil and Magnesium for 6 months prior to starting the Pekana Drainage Kit followed by the Toxex. After Erica could tolerate medications, she began using IV Ozone, and Infared Sauna, though she does not attribute these in anyway to the initial relief of Chemical Sensitivities. Given the clear change in Erica's symptoms, it is probably safe to assume that Pekana products in other areas besides just the typical Drainage kit that your office uses may be of value to other Lyme patients. I believe psychological (Psy-Stabil), neurological (Neu-Regen) and other products are available by Pekana which could be useful.

This second post discusses the Bionic 880, as well as lay scientific explanations of how it works, what studies have been done to support it's potential value, and the experience of a German Physician currently treating patients.
Since this physician is not in the United States, and is freely allowed under his country's laws (including medical standing), I will use his name.
Lauren, You requested information on the Bionic 880 which also appears to have substantially improved Erica's physical function. It appears that Erica has seen a 15-25% in improvement after only using the Bionic 880 under the care of Dr. Ingo Woitzel for approximately 6-7 treatments. The Bionic 880 therapy includes more than just the use of a machine, including intravenous therapies following each treatment, as well as the Nosodes and other tools. Dr. Woitzel claims that his therapy works not only on European strains, such as borrelia afzelii, but also burgdorferi and other strains found in the United States, His information is listed below.
First is a letter written by Dr. Woitzel regarding his current clinical research and explanation on the treatment itself (Lyme Disease, or borreliosis). Remember that this is a translation from German to English.
At the bottom you will find the information on the Bionic 880, as well as explanations about how it works.
Dr. Woitzel's Explanation: Borreliosis is a bacterial disease which is caused by bites from ticks and other insects. Borrelia is classified within the spirochetes bacterial strain. Scientific experiments have shown that the cells maintain their metabolism using photons. In the illness Borreliosis, Borrelia infiltrate the cells and the photon balance of the cell is clearly decreased. It is for this reason that Photon therapy is used to treat Borreliosis. Photon therapy using Bionic 880 with its four different frequency ranges in the infrared range makes it possible for us to have a positive effect on energy balance, metabolism and cell regeneration. Furthermore, we have discovered a smart way to successfully treat Borreliosis without administering antibiotics. Using photon therapy, the cells are in the position to remove invasive bacteria (and also viruses and toxic loads) away from the cells and thereby induce a normalization of the metabolism. By eliminating Borrelia from the cells there is an immune response within the lymphocytes, which finally destroys the Borellia. In this phase the results are clear for the patient - his/her immune system reacts and we can clearly see this in the lymphocyte transformation tests, which are carried out regularly. From widespread application observations the following can be stated: In initially high lymphocyte reactions to Borrelia, Photon therapy brings about fast normalisation, i.e., after 5-8 treatments, tests are in the normal range. (The patient notices a continual improvement in his/her condition). In very low lymphocyte reactions there is a rapid rise in the immune reaction, which normalizes 2-3 months after therapy. Here, the patients have clear reactions. Treating Borreliosis using photons has a success rate of well over 90 %. Experience using photon therapy has been going on for a period of 7 years now and we are happy to report that we have a relapse rate of only 1-2 %.
Requirements for treatment: Bionic 880 and Borreliosis Nosodes and if necessary Original Borrelia afzelii as mentioned in your letter. Setting on Bionic 880: Power: 100%; Frequency; F3; Time; 395 sec. (In some cases it may be necessary to use F1 instead of F3. Special test methods are needed for this).
Treatment: Nosodes and if necessary Original Borrelia afzelii (Nosodes, or Live Bacteria, including burgdorferi) are attached to 3 fingers beneath the sternum. This causes a demonstrable and considerable strain on the entire organism. The following S points are then treated: as stated in your letter. Application of the Borrelia to the Solar plexus is needed for a positive therapeutic sucess and to achieve a specific reaction, which would otherwise not occur. Treatment is to be carried out twice per week. There should be two days between each treatment, so as to avoid overload and over-reaction; 5 treatments are to be carried out in total and energetic testing as well as laboratory tests have to be carried out. If the energetic testing is positive, on the same or the following days Photon therapy is to be carried out again. Reactions are to be observed for a period of one month, and no other energetic treatment using photons is to be carried out during this period. Checks should be carried out monthly and if the result is positive it should be followed by one photon therapy. In application observations 108 patients were controllably treated and monitored over a period of 3 years, the rate of success was over 96 %; we have successfully treated well over 500 patients in seven years and up to now have only had 6 patients who had re-onset Borreliosis. Determining factors of these were once again tick bites or stings from other insects.

Note: Controversy exists among the research community regarding this topic, though multiple studies on both sides appear valid.
According to quantum theory, light consists of light bundles, also mentioned as quanta or photons. The photons are absorbed by the skin and to spread in the body. Popp's contribution was to state that each cell communicates with others by means of bio photons. Likewise the three Russian scientists S. Stschurin, V.P. Kasnaschejew and L Michailowa confirmed after over 5000 experiments that living cells transmit information by bio photons.
From these realizations the French biophysicist Daniel Giron developed the photon therapy and is therefore the `father' of today's Bionic 880.
How does the Bionic 880 work?
The radiated photons are absorbed by the skin, multiply in the body and spread everywhere. They reach the brain passing the branchings of the nervous system as well as the spinal cord and harmonize (in the meaning of modification) the production of different hormones here: endorphins, serotonin.
Using other connections the photon signals arrive at the adrenal gland and modify the production of DHEA and cortisol.
Cellular effects
There is no life possible without light. According to Prof. Dr. F. A. Popp in each cell of our body light radiates by so called bio photons. In affected cells the intensity of the light diminishes. The regeneration of these weakened cells is stimulated by supplying light in form of photons. That means at the same time that the photons do not have a stimulating effect with fully functioning cells (battery effect).
The photon therapy used in the infrared wave band can activate many metabolic processes, including cell division, for cyclic AMP metabolism, oxidative phosphorylation, haemoglobin, collagen and other protein syntheses, leukocyte activity, production of macrophages and wound healing.
If macrophages are exposed to infrared light within the range of 880 Nm, they release substances, which are helpful repairing damaged cells and which support production of connective tissue. Infrared light has been proved to have positive effects on leukocytes, several types of lymphocytes, several types of enzymes, prostaglandin production and collagen cells. It was proved that infrared photon radiation leads to an increase of the ATP concentration and the ATPase activity in living tissue.
Hormonal effects
Endorphins are also mentioned as endogenous morphine, since they resemble morphine in chemical structure. They are found in different places of the body and the central nervous system and are considered as responsible for and / or participating in different functions such as pain reduction and well-being.
Furthermore, they have a controlling influence on the reaction of the body in stress situations and on homoeostatic mechanisms such as heart circulation, respiration, digestion and thermal regularization.
Clients/Patients with chronic pain were found to have a lowered level of endorphin in the cerebrospinal fluid, which was raised after the therapy with the Bionic 880, in connection with pain reduction. Addictive behaviour is attributed to a suppression of body-own production by endorphins as well. Cortisol plays a substantial role in stress situations in addition to adrenaline and noradrenaline. With shock or stress an increased cortisol production takes place. By stimulation with the Bionic 880 the cortisol level is lowered. The client/patient feels a pleasant continuous relaxation.
Serotonin belongs to the group of dopamines. It is a natural amphetamine, which represents a natural "appetite suppressant ". The stimulation of serotonin production in connection with an adapted nutrition is a natural way of weight adjustment.
What are possible medical indications for the use of the Bionic 880?

How is the treatment accomplished? Which conditions do I (client) have to fulfill?
The hand piece (radiation head) of the Bionic 880 may simply be positioned onto different locations of the body, (just because of Bionic's principle of free distribution of photons in the body). In basic therapy the radiation head is generally positioned onto the following locations on the surface of the client for about 5 minutes: l both hands' inner wrists (as particularly relevant areas, e.g. for the Heart Meridian: Heart 7, Lung 7, Lo-point of the Triple Warmer 5, Lung Meridian: Lung 9) l both ears (they represent reflex zones of the organs) l CNS (neck or 3rd eye (reinforcement over the entrance to the hypophysis cerebri by the occipital foramen)
Duration of treatment will be 5 minutes for each point. The treatments of pain, wounds, etc. need additional 10-15 minutes per location.
A therapy should consist of 3 treatments minimum, even if the client/patient feels relief already before. The maximum number of treatments is naturally dependent on client/patient and indication. The recommended average number of treatments may vary from 3 to 10. The equipment is immediately applicable after short briefing of the operating instructions. The treatments can be delegated after a short briefing, too.

Summary (German To English Translation)
The Bionic-880-Therapy (according to H. Buschk�hl) was examined / evaluated by the IIB institute with the help of the regularization diagnosis. A measurement of 9 patients /probands was accomplished before and after the treatment by this therapy in each case. With 6 patients the second measurement was performed immediately after the first treatment. With 3 patients the effect was documented several days after the treatment. 8 of 9 patients showed a significant change after the treatment. The conclusion can be drawn that the patients were affected actively by the Bionic-880-Therapy. The patient without considerable change needed more than only one session to show a significant improvement. 3 patients showed a positive regularization after the first treatment (in direction of log-normal distribution). 2 patients the condition of regulation appeared rather more chaotic. This is a prevalent primary aggravation, in case the therapy gives a strong impact to the body causing a change of regularization. Here a process related measurement would have been appropriate, which was unfortunately not possible for temporal reasons. 4 patients needed more energy after the first treatment, 1 patient had an increased energy potential, and the other one did not show significant changes of the electrical conductivity at all. The actual positive effect of the Bionic-880-Beam is to be determined after a treatment of several days. 2 patients show this very clearly, less the third one. Latter was treated with antibiotics at the same time, however. Having all aspects considered, the treatment with the Bionic-880 has led to a clearly provable and usually very positive influence of the regularization condition of the examined patients / probands. Whether these tools will prove themselves valuable as more than a single ancedotal case is unknown to me. As I understand it, the clinical implications are obvious to me. My partner has been extremely sick and has tried an enormous array of therapeutic methods under the care of Dr. H in NY. I am convinced enough to attempt to use these treatments myself, though I have no expectations about the outcome. As we all have come to understand, patients with severe cases often exhaust conventional and unconventional treatments. Experimental therapies -- often cutting edge and seemingly science fiction-like begin to appear as options.
With that said, I can only report what I feel and see. As I attempt these treatments I will report whatever improvements I think are significant and reproducible.

Thank for bringing this up again, Metallic.... It's been a while.
I believe there are 2 or 3 people who used to post here pretty often who used a version of this modality (infrared light) & were able to get well.
They don't post as often as they used to... Probably, because they are out living life & don't need to spend all of their time inside in front of Lymenet. - LOL
I have had some setbacks in my attempts to use infrared light but I believe it's because I didn't know I had parasites &, possibly, babesia. If anyone has any further info about using infrared light with the co-infections or parasites - please post!
Someone I know who used to post about this feels that it's not a good idea to try to treat babesia with infrared light.

I'm so glad Erica is feeling better. I hope to read that you are following in her footsteps.
I've been using Pekana for the past 3 years and I love them! I've used the drainage pack many times. I've also been using toxex on the recommendation of my LLMD for the past 2 years.
I muscle tested positive for Psy-Stabil a few months ago and have been using it since then. It has helped a lot with irritability. I recently started my brother on it due to his current interferon therapy making him so irritable. I don't have results on that yet since he just started it.
I muscle tested positive for Proscenat several years ago but I wasn't sure why. I bought it anyway and started taking it and after awhile (don't remember how long), my bladder pain almost went completely away. It flares once in a great while but is mostly gone. It is a miracle to me because I've had bladder pain for 40 years and it was constant - 24/7 and very painful.
Unfortunately if I stop for more than a week, the pain starts to come back. I think it is helpful because it seems to target bladder inflammation for me. I don't know if it would help anyone else with bladder pain.
Notatum suppositories are amazing for colon inflammation. Before treating parasites there were many times that I could barely sit because of colon inflammation. These suppositories were recommended by my LLMD and they really helped a lot. The people who run Natural Healing House are Naturopathic Doctors and very helpful. I talked to Maria (one of the ND's) several times. She already knew about lyme and was involved in developing a Pekana protocol for a specific patient who has lyme and another condition (can't remember the other condition off-hand). I took the protocol to my LLMD but he wanted me to wait on parts of it and I haven't gone back to try it yet. My computer crashed and lost data so I'm not sure that I still have the protocol.
I've had a lot of success with Pekana. It's so good to hear that others have found it and are doing well with it too.

Fortunately this thread is not for debate, so anyone who wants to contribute anything "constructive" about their experience directly with the Bionic 880 or the Pekana products is free to do so. If debate or arguments of any type -- even minor -- appear, I'll have them removed by a moderator.
That should keep some traps shut and help people feel comfortable.
