I took less than half a capsule.

Im going to take more xanax so I dont freak out while I wait to see what happens.

After one hour, if I dont have weird reaction I will feel much better and feel like I accomplished something big and nothing horrible happened.

tomorrow I will take Half and then move on to the full dose.

Ughhh im sooo scared. I am SUCh a wimp!

You are not a wimp, there is nothing wrong with being cautious. After what our bodies go through

I don't blame you one bit.

I used to be so terrified of medication... I would put it in my mouth then take it out, several times I would do this, then I finally would talk myself out of it.

I had the greatest medication phobia. Now with lyme, I take anything... I feel like I don't have anything to lose.

The medicetion can't possibly make me feel worse than I already do.

YOU CAN DO IT.

You did it. I took a xanax waited a few hours and took the bactrim. You're not a wimp, you don't know what this is going to do. Felt many ways before that weren't pleasant, so its understandable.

I do the same. Once you have been through a major herx it is scary. Whenever I start a new abx I always back it with a xanax for the first week. Let us know how you do. Rifampin is next for me.

Rifampin and I are now solid buddies. 600mg a day and he wakes me up at about 3am every morning. I personally can't stand xanax unless there is no other choice. Even when I get some pretty bad anxiety I generally don't take it. Whatever it takes though, feel good about taking it and move on with your program. Congratulations, we'll have to trade notes.
