After discovering that my magnesium level is waaay low, my doctor suggested that I use magnesium bath flakes instead of epsom salt.
He says that this form of mag. will absorb into my body better than the e.salt will. The brand of flakes is "Essence of Life".
I got a big 20 cup container for $80.00. Not cheap, but maybe it'll be worth it!
Anyone else used these, or another brand of flakes??

I was doing some research on magnesium today. I'm not sure if the mag chloride is better than the other forms of magnesium.
Most things I've read say the citrate is the most absorbable form for internal use.
I don't know if it's worth the price... I saw 2.2 lbs of mag chloride flakes on Amazon for $15. They also use the mag chloride as a de-icer.
