Had a lot to discuss with my LLMD yesterday, and of course it was a day I had my kids with me b/c no babysitter.
Anyway, he seems to be as frustrated as I am with the way things are going.
He's retesting me for babs (although he still thinks it will come back negative) and testing for bart.
He doesn't know what we'll do if I do test positive for babs, since I'm allergic to zith and I won't have insurance to cover malarone after this month.
He also wants to test my immune system and again my Vitamin D levels--he thinks my body isn't absorbing the D like it should and that's affecting my immune system.
I asked him about my eyes--that was scary on the way to his office, I lost color vision for a while.
He recommended Dr. S. for that--I don;t know if he requires a referral; I didn't think to ask him that.
Just feeling a little frustrated, I guess. Seems like it's one step forward, two steps back.

I am sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time.
I wanted to pass along this post from earlier this week in case you did not see it about using Green Tea extract for Babesia...

Thanks for the post, Dekrator. I'll have to look into that and bring it up to my LLMD to see what he thinks.
Anything is better than paying out of pocket for abx, as long as it works.
