I think that I am going to try IV Glutathione. I will be getting it from my non LLMD as we don't really have LLMDs in San Diego.

What is the usual dosage for Lyme patients? Does anyone know?

Merrygirl,

Do you notice a difference when you take it? I'm assuming insurance does not cover it.

I was just reading about sublingual glutathione. Maybe you could try that instead of IVs?

Anyone out there try it?

This one seemed pretty good. I never tried it. I don't get any money for recommending products...

I just had my first IV Glutathione administerd

yesterdaty at my NDs office. I think my energy

level today seems better. Will give it a few

days. Next IV is Thursday. Hopefully I will

start to see some improvements. I am in BC and

the price runs about 75-100$ for a 200mg.

I have done 1 gram 3 xs/week at home when I had a PICC line. And, miraculously, my insurance covered it (at a high co-pay, but I was happy that they covered it at all). It helped a lot.

You can also take it sublingually at a lower dosage, ie, 250 or 300 mg, either from a compounding pharmacy, or even open up a capsule.

Or, it can be nebulized (it has to be compounded by a compounding pharmacy---300 mg 1-2 xs/day is common).

It helps A LOT for me!

Haley,
We DO HAVE LLMDs in San Diego.
Please PM me and I will give you the info.
One of them is speaking at the LIA conference this month in Palm Springs.
We also have a LLND who just finished writing the Lyme diet Book and speaks as conferences also.
Two really GREAT Lyme docs right here in San Diego.

I do 2 grams of IV glutathione whenever symptoms get bad. After I do it, it generally gives me complete relief, although temporary, from a host of severe symptoms. The stuff is really quite amazing. But like I said, it seems to be more temporary. It costs about $80 per dose. I don;t have a PICC line and cannot administer myself.

The oral glutathione does not help me at all.
