I just got my port for IV Rocephin on Monday. I'm now having diarrhea and wondering if its from the actigal i just started with the treatment or the Rocephin or is it from all the pain meds or being put out? Any ideas?

I am also on oral levaquin and i pulse flagyl which i'm off right now i take LDN probiotics and thats about it. Any ideas? My doctor is not in town until Monday.

Are you on oral Lev right now? That does that to me when I take it.

The Actigall gave me pain near my gallbladder but no diarrhea.

Hope you feel better!! Did you start the Rocephin yet?

Gosh, you just had a port put in last Monday and you are already infusing? Don't you need like a week to heal before you infuse?

I suppose Rocephin could do that in the beginning if you are not use to it. I didn't have diarrhea from Rocephin.

hummm, well yes they started infusing on the operating table! and the nurse came out the following morning and today.

I just got off with the doctor that did my surgery and he told me to stop the actigal for now until my doctor gets back on monday. hopefully that does the trick.

My bet would be that it's more likely from the rocephin or levaquin. But you need to speak with your doctor. Take extra probiotics.
