I need a tooth extraction and it has a complicated/twisted root. It presently has a large cavity under my white filling and I dont want a root canal so want it removed instead.
Is there anything i should know before having it removed as i am so scared of the dentist as i became ill after a failed root canal in 2006.
I therefore assume an extraction is the best option

Hey Lulu, will you be seeing an oral surgeon for the procedure or is this being done by your regular dentist?
My son is having an extraction next week. With the Lyme complicating everything, his regular dentist wanted him to go to an oral surgeon for the extraction. We just figured that he would give him general anesthesia and take the tooth out.... NOT.
This oral surgeon was amazing and I was impressed about his knowledge- not only of Lyme disease but the complications of it on the whole body as well. He asked questions and spoke to us for almost 2 hours about his health history etc.
Long story short- given the adrenal fatigue, he will not do general anesthesia at all; too dangerous he said. (that floored me...my son is 24 yrs old...) He wants to use Nitrous Oxide and Novocaine instead as it will ultimately be much less stressful on his whole body. He'll be awake but was told "Trust me, you won't care!"
Not sure if you have adrenal issues or not- most Lymies do though- so wanted to mention this in case there is something in it that could help you in your situation.
Hope all goes well and wish you the best.

Take loads of chlorella the week before the extraction, the day of, and the week after. Also make sure they leave no bone of the root to form a cavitation...that is the problem with extractions that can create other future health issues. The chlorella binds to any toxins and removes them ...things that are hidden in the gum and root/tooth/jaw area.
