Guys if you could connect some dots here I'd appreciate it. Been going on 1.5 months now, intense abdominal burning/pain whenever I take abx. Going off them relieves it, LLMD had me go off and it went away. We all know how the bugs come back and you can't stay off abx too long.
Been to the ER, had ct scan, "supposedly" ruled out appendix/gallbladder problems etc. but I'm not so sure I trust any mainstream anything anymore.
It's lower right side, front pain.
What tests would you run with this situation?

Which infections did your LLMD diagnose you with? Which abx are you on?
If I had to guess I would say you have Bartonella and are experiencing a herx after taking the abx, but we need more information to help you.
A CT scan isn't going to show any kind of explanation for this if it is a herx, which is likely as it comes right after abx and goes away when you stop abx.

Bart, Lyme too but Bart is dominant big time. Most resolved with Rifampin but this is a new symptom, like I said recent 1.5 months. . And of course I can't stay off abx as I'm not 100%.
It happened on Doxy and Rifampin. Quit those two weeks ago, started Bactrim DS today. Boom, it's back instantly.
Something digestive not working right?
Thanks for your response.

I guessed Bart because Bart commonly causes GI problems and abdominal pain. It definitely sounds like a herx to me. Oftentimes a herx just takes the form of an intensification of a symptom of the infection. Although you haven't suffered abdominal burning and pain before it is a Bart symptom and it's probably happening as you hammer the Bart with the Doxy, Rifampin, and now with Bactrim.
I know this sounds weird but a new symptom or an intensification of a symptom during abx can be a good sign. Think about it this way. Chronic infection usually doesn't manifest itself in extremely acute ways. That's why it's called chronic. When you start to hit the pathogen symptoms often become acute as the pathogen goes into panic mode and attacks your body as if it just entered. Basically, it's no longer at home and therefore acts much more aggressively.
You are killing the Bart, just possibly too quickly. I bet if you reduced the dosage you wouldn't have as big of a problem. I can't think of any explanation besides a herx. A sulfa allergy to Bactrim is ruled out because you had this reaction with the Doxy and Rifampin, and it doesn't sound anything like a sulfa allergy anyway.
