This day came! After almost 2.5 years I'm now off the antibiotics and on cowden drops.
It's been several weeks now and I feel fantastic!!!!
Thank you all SO much for your support!
The only thing troubling me is all the talk about how prolonged use of abx can lead to resistant bacteria and fatal infections...
I have been guided by a very competent LLMD and was on a truckload of probiotics all the time....
Wondering just how much risk am I under right now for infections with resistant bacteria.
Did those of you who are done with treatment find this to be an issue or am I worried without a real cause....
Thank you in advance and hang on there!
P.S. Currently having a sinus infection, which does NOT help....

I took antibiotics for years when I was a teenager for acne. I haven't had any trouble from it.
I think the best thing that any of us can do is to take care of ourselves-eat right, exercise, be a health nut!!
I can't wait until my daughter is where you are now. It makes me happy to know that people do beat this disease.

I was actually curious about how long to continue taking probiotics!
Forgot to ask my LLMD this when he was taking me off abx.

- "How long to continue taking probiotics?"
For the rest of your life. Everyone should. Think of it as the most essential food for your body because, it is. -
