I did well with Tramadol - didn't see any berries growing - until I developed an allergy and had to stop. I was able to take it with other stuff: abx and supplements

I've taken Tramadol as needed for a few years and have never had any problems taking them at the same time as abx or supplements.

Tramadol is a lightweight pain medication, why would you fight taking it? Pain can damage the immune system and must be controlled.
No hero's needed, take what is needed for symptomatic relief.
I take pain meds and to protect my stomach, my pain management Md has me on a PPI (Nexium, Prevacid, etc.) But that isn't normally needed unless you take a lot of ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories.

My husband and I both take Tramadol several times a day and have for years. No side effects for either of us and it does help a lot with the pain.

I think there are two different varieties of Tramadol. One made me really sick; the other I was able to take to help with pain. For me, it wasn't as effective for nerve pain as Neurotin.

The Tramadol I could tolerate also had Acetaminophen. The generic is ultracet.

I have been taking Tramadol for a few years now to control pain. Does anyone find that it gives them increased energy? It has never made me sick, just given my insominia, and I feel so lethargic when I do not take it. I take 3 in the morning, and again have been doing that for many years (maybe 5 years or more?)

I'm apparently a lightweight, I take 25mg of Tramadol and I'm OUT. I actually had just posted about this, I seem to be having a 'hangover' effect from it in the morning.
I've never been told to take it away from antibiotics or anything, though, just as needed.
