My sister had her 2 toy white poodles at a farm in Western Oklahoma for Easter. The dogs had many ticks on them which she got off of them. The 5 yr. old mother poodle which had liver problems started to feel bad with fever. She gave it antibiotics and it seemed to get a little better.

Last night Cici, the poodle, passed away in her sleep. I think she might have gotten something from the tick and with her bad liver couldn't make it. It wasn't any other problems like snakebite or anything else.

Poor poodle!

BTW, my golden retriever has lyme symptoms. When I rife for lyme she's gotten much better. I loaned my rife out and haven't been running lyme for last days and she's started to groan a little again but not as bad as before.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister's little poodle, Cici. [group hug]

If Cici were mine I would definitely want to know what the vet thought caused her death.

Many dogs get ehrlichia and can die quite quickly .. as can humans.... Someone recently posted about dogs getting this.

I would take any dog with tick bites and symptoms to a vet for treatment. Nothing to mess around with.

We have TREMENDOUSLY high cases of ehrlichia/anaplasmosis here in OK. Both of my standard poodles have contracted it over the years.....and I can't even begin to count how many pets here (from people that I know) have it that I know of..

Give your dog abx (or Rife is okay) AND a product called "Missing Link". Max the doses on the back of the bag.

Missing Link is EFAs (Omega 3s).

His stools will be "softer".

The COMBINATION is very important.
