Beware, if you have left sided pain under your ribs, it could be pain from having an enlarged spleen. Supposedly due to viral infections.

I have several areas of pain in my belly area (I consider my belly from under ribs to my hip bones) spleen pain, ascending and descending colon pain, also ovarian cyst which cause pain. That is what he said..

Told me to avoid sports that could rupture the spleen. Might not be your problem, but it was one of my problems.

I started on Biaxin on Thursday and have had shooting stabbing pains all over...mainly in my joints plus some numbness in my face, extreme fatigue, and thinking problems. THis should make teaching second graders very interesting.
