My arthritis is acting up really bad in my hip and knee.

I was ready to scream in pain the other night when I got up because my hip hurt so bad. And this is on meds that is supposed to help.

I am stretching some but it just seems to make it worse.

I'm using a cream to help but it's minimal affects.

What else can I do?

Oh and I looked at Dr. B's guidelines but can't take the G (cant' remember the name) because it's got shellfish and I'm allergic.

Thanks

kissy, you might want to try the detox baths in the evening. Epsom salt is great for drawing out aches and pains.

I use warm water, 2 cups epsom salt and 1 cup baking soda. Soak for 20 minutes or more.

I'm sure you've got the unsettled weather that we have had the last few days and I know how these fronts effect my pain.

Pam

Ok

I did not see that you are allergic to GS -

You can try MSM --its a type of sulfur --

You can find it on the shelf by the GS
at the store -- It works OK --Jay---

Thanks for the suggestions all. Gonna hit the pharmacy tomorrow for some epsome salt and either the MSM (is that what it says on the bottle?) or the mangosteen, depending on what I can find.

Haven't seen the LLMD yet and am afraid to talk to pcp at the moment.

Really strange thing is that 3 months ago it was my other hip that was hurting this badly. Now it doesn't bother me but this one is way painfull.

My whole right side today actually is acting up.

Got "can't keep my eyes open" tired a couple of times today and just feeling relatively cruddy.

Don't know if it's the change in the weather or if I might possibly be having a flair up.
