I need to take both. I have trouble digesting food without them.

I was taking one capsule each of Jarrow brand's "Jarrow-Zymes Plus" and Solaray's "HCL and pepsin". Recently switched to a product by Thorne. It is not working as well as the two separate products.

I'm having trouble finding an HCL that doesn't contain dairy.

Has anyone been able to find one that doesn't?

i use digestive by andrew lessman from hsn.

they ain't cheap.

shame we can't convince the doctor to simply prescribe pancrease. it's not expensive at all.

does anybody doc do this?

Don`t take them at the same time.

The digestive enzymes should be taken before eating, and the HCL about 45 minutes after.
