I was contacted today by a person who is a scientist, has chronic lyme, with chronic infections.

She was telling me I should go on "Under The 8 Ball.com" and watch the trailer on this documentary which was made by a brother whose sister died, from lyme, not able to get the proper treatment.

The trailer is frightening as it delves into the Government's part in this.

I'm trying to read a book called Lab 257 written about plum island and lyme.

She talked about too many things, my brain couldn't hold the info. I asked about detox, which is something I want to dig further into and she mentioned H.L.A. Huh? Something you need to know so you detox properly.

I am interested in anyone who has seen this Doc. or has read the book. I can't absorb or retain with this neuro brain of mine. Thanks, Jasek

Stab in the dark, but she may have been referring to Kryptopyrroluria (aka Hemopyrrollactamuria) ``HPU''/KPU.

Maybe she was referring to "HPL".

Dr. K spoke of it at the LIA conference last year. See the link below.

http://planetthrive.com/2010/04/hpukpu-protocol-for-lyme-and-autism/

This is Dr. K from lyme-autism conference 2009
(embedded in article from Planet Thrive above):

http://www.lymeinducedautism.com/educationalpresentations.html

Dr. B comments on:
http://www.publichealthalert.org/Articles/scottforsgren/2Klinghardt.htm

"Elevated levels of HPL found in urine are the result of an abnormality in heme synthesis. Hemoglobin is the substance the holds iron in the red blood cells.

HPL is a byproduct of hemoglobin - or heme - synthesis and can be identified in the urine.

HPLs bind to zinc, biotin, manganese, vitamin B6, arachidonic acid and other important compounds and lead to a significant depletion of these substances in the body.

Turning to the importance of zinc, biotin, manganese, vitamin B6, and arachidonic acid in the body, it becomes clear how widespread the problem may be that is created by this condition...."

I read the book, Lab 257. It was written by a credible lawyer. Plum Island is no joke...

There's some nefarious stuff going on. Most people think I'm a crackpot for believing that these ideas have some validity. If you research it, you will find that it's valid.

FYI - http://www.elenacook.org/spirowarfare.html

This stuff is alot to consider. It's not so much that you have "Lyme brain" - it's just alot of information to digest. Once you consider it may be a reality - it's shifts your paradigm of reality.

It takes time to put the pieces together between considering that Lyme may be bio-warefare to what to do to help yourself.

Many people just don't want to go there....

FYI - I copied this from a blog...

http://www.wellsphere.com/lyme-disease-article/hla-1-lyme-triggered-autoimmune-illness/808921

HLA-1 Lyme Triggered Autoimmune Illness

Posted Sep 22 2009 10:09pm

The genetic tests my Dr ran finally came back and although we had hoped for better news it turns out I do have the HLA (human leukocyte antigen) type 01 which is a type associated with Lyme-triggered autoimmune inflammatory illness.

This means that there are molecular shapes on the outside of my own cells that are similar in shape to those on the outside of the Lyme germ. When my body makes proteins to fight Lyme disease, they mistakenly attack my own cells.

Some individuals are born with genetic mutations (abnormalities), which can potentially lead to autoimmune and/or inflammatory conditions such as MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, ALS, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Lyme triggered autoimmune illness.

Autoimmune disorders occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own tissues because they are incorrectly identified as harmful substances like bacteria or viruses.

The theory is that these infections confuse the immune system essentially cascading out of control attacking both the good and the bad thus creating a set of symptoms.

Currently I am slowly upping the Lyme meds and have been pretty sick with what I assume is a Herxheimer reaction. At my next appointment with the specialist in MA she will discuss my options for treatment in light of this new HLA-1 information.

Sparkle ..This is exactly what I was looking for. Wouldn't this testing play a major role in treatment? Is it a blood test. Today is the first time I ever heard of it.Have you ever done any detoxing?

You are so right about Lab 257. Every lymie should read it.

Watch the trailer on the doc.

Hi Wildcondor,

here's another book possibly to add to the list:

Dr Mary's Monkey

by Edward T. Haslam and Jim Marrs

All about mouse viruses, and the CIA in the late 1950s and after.

Seems very relevant, especially now XMRV, the retrovirus from mice, has been found in CFS and Lyme patients.

Jasek,

I am positive for 2 genetic markers. My sister is positive for 1.

Detoxing will not affect the outcome of the genetic test. We either have the marker(s) or we don't.

It tells us the likelihood of having autoimmune response(s) in the presence of the lyme bacteria.

Here's a thread on detox support that may help you:
