Just found out there is a blood test that will test whether or not you are allergic to the dental materials used in your fillings and crowns? Apparently your immune system makes antibodies to incompatible materials and many health problems can result. If anyone has had this please let me know. I spoke to someone who is part of the IAOMT and he said some people who were considered hopeless were found to have high levels of antibodies to certain substances so I guess composite fillings aren't safe either.

Since I see you are in NY like me, it is illegal in NY state. You would have to go to Jersey to get it done. Don't ask me why :/

Sorry- didn't see that you don't know. It is crazy that you can't get a blood test done that might help you.

I'm from NY and unless anything has changed it's perfectly legal.
I had it done 5 years ago. It was a bit expensive around 250 dollars but did give a list of all dental materials that showed incompatability.
It was called Clifford materials reactivity testing. Any holistic or biological dentist that uses IAOMT guidelines could recommend it.

TS96-It has changed. You did it 5 years ago. I saw my dentist a few days ago and that is what she told me. My LLMD said it too.

IME testing with a BIM - Bioelectral Impedance Machine - can also assess if you are allergic to substances.
Had a patient once who got a filling with something that was supposedly nonallergenic. But he certainly reacted to it. NAET (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique) eliminated the allergy.

My dentist in MA has an ND come up from GA once a month to test everyone who doesn't chose the blood test.
He uses a bio-resonance machine of some type.

Okay. That really stinks that it is now illegal.
I also had EAV to confirm but this was not accurate for me.
I did find the blood test valuable. All my composits turned out okay so when I had my amalgams removed I had the identical composit put in for uniformity.
You wouldn't want several different kinds of things in your mouth.
Cerac or porciline seems to be least reactive for most people but not always but is also the most expensive.
hope this helps.

AMK, This is in reference to your pm to me.
If you have an awful taste in your mouth I bet you have a cavitation in your jaw. You really ought to find a expert that does a cavitat scan that will check for this.
A normal dental xray misses lots of these. Please have your dentist look carefully at your recent xrays and see if they can refer you to a good dentist who can rule this out.
I had one of the best TMJ, cavitation dentists take care of me and I did not have a cavitation just a bad case of TMJ.
If you would like to know the dentist just pm me. He is located in Ohio.

Does seem like there could be someone closer but I guess they have a long relationship with him.
There's a veterinarian in MA that uses it on animal all the time! Something wrong with this picture?

No, no, nothing wrong at all !
I had a large allergy clinic in Columbus OH about 10 years ago and a Biomeridian practitioner helped me test for allergies that way. Great for kids !
I do have one myself now - for a few years - and have been really pleased with it.
