Went to the doctor today for the usual visit. All went well. I asked him if I had bart as well. He said not sure but it might be in your blood. I had the fry smear done and my doc said it could be bart. He doesn't like fry to much therefore didn't put much stock into the results. How many of you have all three??? Can this get any better?? I'm so tired of all this..... -------------------- jkv44

Hi, You might know, but there are more than 2 co-infections. If you include viral co-infections I have had 7 co-infections in all that I am aware of. Ticks can transfer nematodes (worms), bacterial and viral infections. Here is a list of just a few bacterial co's that are common w/LD and symptoms/treatment: http://www.lymeinfo.net/coinfectionarticle.html One of the most complete lists of TBD infections is from the website, Lyme Disease Memorial Park Project, it includes all the possible strains, but I don't see herpes viruses such as CMV, HHV6, EBV and other viruses that are common. Vector and Tickborne diseases found in The USA: Anaplasmosis Anaplasma phagocytophilum- Human Granulocytotropic Anaplasmosis (HGA) (formerly Human Granulocytic Ehrlichiosis (HGE)), Ehrlichia equi- Equine Granulocytotropic Ehrlichiosis (EGE) and Ehrlichia ewingii- Canine Granulocytotropic Ehrlichiosis (CGE) Anaplasma marginale- Bovine Anaplasmosis Anaplasma ovis Anaplasma platys- Canine Ehrlichiosis (formerly Ehrlichia platys) Chlamydia Babesia bigemia- Texas Fever or Bovine Babesia Babesia bovis- Texas Fever or Bovine Babesia Babesia caballi- Equine Piroplasmosis Babesia canis- Canine Babesia Babesia conradae Babesia divergens Babesia duncani- (formerly Babesia WA1) Babesia felis Babesia gibsoni Babesia major Babesia microti Babesia odocoilei Babesia ovis Babesia CA1 Babesia MO1 Bartonella bacilliformis Bartonella bovis Bartonella clarridgeiae Bartonella elizabethae Bartonella henselae- Cat Scratch Fever Bartonella quintana or Rochalimae quintana- Trench Fever and Bacillary Angiomatosis Bartonella tamiae Bartonella vinsonii berkhoffii Bartonella weissii Borrelia americana sp. I agree, it really is. My LLMd once said to me (and now I know he wasn't kidding) "Lyme is the tip of the iceberg". --------------------www.truthaboutlymedisease.com

Everyone in Maryland that I know with lyme disease (and, that is many, many people) also had babesiosis and bartonella. Virginia is our neighbor, so I expect virtually the same thing there.

I have been rid of lyme, babs, and bart for 5 years. My Burrascano type doc got rid of all 3 of them in one year of treatment.
