Never done it but here's some pretty simple instructions:

I do them almost daily except durning menstural cycle as advised by my ND.
I make it simple. I have a piece of wool flannel that I keep in a bag in the fridge. I take that out, add some castor oil to the pack and my abdomen, place wool flannel with castor oil on abdomen, cover with plastic bag (so it won't get on your clothes) and place a heating pack over my stomach. I do it for at least 60 min a day. Then when you are done, place the wool flannel back in the baggie and put in the fridge until next use. This is how my ND told me to do it and it is really simple.
Good luck!!

My fella has been doing it for a while (I have a time or two) - he got his info from the readings of Edgar Cayce.
He does what jenny76 does and it really does help him - got most of his stuff from Barr (company has a lot of Edgar's "recipies" - NO financial connection for us other than we SPEND money there) on-line. Gary's link is very informative!
Barr has products to help get the castor oil off - really sticky - use the plastic to keep it in control!
