In the interest of trying to determine whether I'm suffering from a Babesia symptom, or something else, I need some clarification from other sufferers...

When you're suffering from air hunger, do you have a pressure-like pain when trying to take a big breath?

A pain that resonates around the ribs, a pain that is heavy in the center of your chest?

Yes, pain in my chest like someone is pushing on it extremely hard and in my back right where the bottom of the lung is located. I'm actually having that symptom right now [Smile] Oh the joys...

Yes! For many yrs I get pain when I need to take a deep breath.

It feels like numerous tiny stabbing pains all around my ribcage, below my chest. Feels like the atmospheric pressure is too great or something.

When I'm standing in a pool or lake with water to my armpits, it's worse. [confused]

I just felt like I couldn't get enough air. Sometimes I'd be having heart symptoms and would feel chest pressure and shortness of breath along with it. I would skip beats. I'd also have hear palpitations. But just air hunger by itself was always just feeling like I wasn't getting enough air when in reality I was hyperventilating (I was tested).

I was just about to post this. I have quick, rapid breathing with my "air hunger". Until today. Now, it hurts really bad if I try to take a deep breath.

This has happened a few times. . it acts like pleurisy, but the lungs are clear.

Hope it passes quickly. For both of us.

I also have horrible chest pain. In fact, I have it right now. I was told my LLMD to stop all meds because my liver enzymes were elevated. It has been about a month since I've been off antibiotics and I feel all my symptoms coming back.

My chest pain is horrific, and my headachs at the front of my head are horrible. I'm pretty sure it's my co-infection of babesia. I was actually doing pretty well while on antibiotics, but I can't take them now.

Sometimes, I also get a SHARP pain at the base of my sternum when I take a deep breathe. It really hurts bad. And it will happen about 4-5 times in a row and then the pain stops. I hope my liver enzymes go down soon so I can figure out what I can take next to help my pain.
