Has anyone had scalp sores? Every month right after a full moon I have severe flareups & then my scalp breaks out with little sores. I hope this is a good sign of those little bugs trying to escape!

Someone recently suggested Selsun Blue. I soak in

Epsoms. I would try both and see if either helps.

Parasites get very busy around full moon when they multiply.

Take care.

Couldn't it also be yeast? I get itchy scalp from yeast/candida.

If my yeast gets out of control I get itchy flakey scalp. Nystatin shampoo at any drugstore or even Kmart has it.

Just a thought, if you color your hair it might be an allergic reaction to the hair color. I have had bumps erupting out on my scalp for over 6 months and i have not colored my hair in over 2 months. I have had swollen glands, sore throat, numbness and tingling in the ears and side of face also, a rash that looks similar to poison ivy on the back of my neck at the hairline. I feel that i have been poisoned! I take Zyrtec and Sudafed every day so i can function. There is a chemical in hair color(main ingredient) called PPD- Para Phenylenediamine. One day you can color your hair no problem and the next month you develop an allergy to it...
