As ART can be a couple of different things, I assume you mean artemisinin. (ART can also be autonomic response training or something like that with muscle response.)

Yes, Olive Leaf Extract can be taken at the same time as artemisinin. Just not with any probiotics as it would negate that.

I would not start both together on the same day, though. I'd start one and wait a full week and then add just ONE capsule of the new one a day for a few days. You might even try ONLY the addition for the day you add it and give the other one a break.

Then, when you do take two together, you have a better understanding that you could do them each independently.

Both can cause a herx. Good liver support is still a good idea.

Yes I take both - and they can each cause a herx, I would start one for awhile and another maybe a week later to see response first.

thanks,
I just wanted to be sure the OLE didn't defeat the purpose of the Artimsin.

They have different actions. There are some differences and some similarities (both are used with malaria but neither one is enough, alone). From what I've read OLE can complement Artemisinin. But, you are right to consider all aspects.

Actually, artemisinin requires something to go with it. Mono therapy is never suggested for babesia. It has to be a combination of some kind. Artemisinin is never enough alone. Your LLMD or LL ND should be guiding you in the total combination formula or protocol for babesia.
