I can't seem to find any info on this. Will this abx target Lyme, bart, and babs all together? What's the ideal med for co-infections for a child?

Cefdinir alone will hit Bb/lyme. For Bartonella may need to add something like bactrim, or zith and bactrim, or clarith and bactrim, for adults rifampin would replace the bactrim, also levoquin is apparently better than rifampin per Dr B's treatment guide. That leaves Babesia, I take artemisinin and bactrim for that. Maybe your son will have Bb alone. If not there will be additions or changes to the medications used as you go forward.

Thank you, Beachinit. This is very helpful.
This does lead me to another question - if her Lyme is congenital since we couldn't think how she was getting bitten by a tick, is it possible that she only "inherit" Bb but not bart and babs?
Her mom has all three, if not more.

Dr. B. just wrote about a case of bartonella which is presumed to be congenital -- twins born ill, one died right after birth and the other has remained sick. So one can inherit at least Lyme and bart, probably babs too. . .
You might add houttuynia herb for bart.
