I was diagnosed with Lymes a month or so back, my stricker panel # was 40 , but my western blot was negative, is this normal? Does it truly mean I have lymes?

Also, I started on one catsclaw tablet and I"m now up to 3 a day. Ever since I started the 3 I have been having really bad stomach pain off and on for the last five days, kinda like a really bad gas pain. Anyone else have this, or is this normal? Thanks so much, any help would be greatly appreciated....

Dretta17 you need to get copies of all your labs.

Many patients have been told neg. when in fact they have significant bands that should not be dismissed.

I was told neg. twice, when in fact I was suffering from Lyme.

I do believe Cats Claw has its place but may not be a good first line treatment.

Yeast can also be a problem when taking antibiotics and most of us do something to prevent it.

Usually either Nystatin or Diflucan.

And a good probiotic to keep the bowels in good working order.

I actually went to an LLMD and she diagnosed me with lymes based on the stricker panel test which came back at 40, because my igenex western blot was negeative. I am avoiding all sugar and yeast and she has me on catsclaw. Should I still post my ab results or does this help a bit? Also, would a cd57 count come back at 40 for certain cancers? Thanks....

Can you stop sweating from Lymes Disease? I have been diagnosed with it but I haven't heard of cessation of sweating as a symptom. I have completely quit sweating.

Yes Sparky22.

It might be a good indication if your body temp

avgeraged throughout the day is below norm a degree

or two. And I did not sweat at 110 degrees working

in the heat.
