Why aren't you on antibiotics instead of cat's claw?

From what I understand, 41kda is not specific to Lyme. This band cross reacts with other flagella type bacteria. Have you been tested for anything else? I believe H. pylori and e coli are flagella type bacteria, but I don't know if they are ones that would cross react on the IGeneX WB.

I have not been tested for anything else, just regular blood work has been done and all that is normal. I am on cat's claw instead of antibiotics because she said she wanted to try this first before exposing my body to possible long term antibiotic treatment.

Many of my symptoms have iproved since starting cat's claw, but now I am dealing with the stomach problems. The tingling I had has gone away a lot, as well as a lot of the fatigue, and foggy feelings. I still have ringing in my left ear but probably always will...what do you all think? I really need help, thanks....

Jasmin,

if you do a Genova stool test they probably come up with this result. Band 41 is not always lyme.
The Fry bug also is on band 41.

Karenl - hi! when you say Fry bug are you talking about Fry labs and the hemobartonella/hemoplasma as well as maybe Bartonella-like organism?

I have my Fry labs back and I'm quite confused with trying to figure out what this is and I'm not sure my LLMD really knows either.

The best I could come up with was a Wiki article on Mycoplasma and on the last paragraph under the Taxonomy subject it looks like this is all mycoplasma; whether it's called haemobartonella or haemoplasma they are both listed as mycoplasma.

Although Fry labs spells their hemo's without the a's, I'm going to assume they are all the same thing.

Fry also does not specify what methods they use, which I do not appreciate. On mine it say that "this" or "that" method was used! It would be really nice to know which method.

Anyway, I'm rambling now. Just curious if that is what you were talking about.

Fry biofilm test only can show it.It is a pseudomonas. The mycoplasma(hemopl.) is often there and I think the myco is just opportunistic.

Genova offers that stool test on their page and it tests for many bowel things also H pylori...
metabolism...parasites..
