Hello
I hear great things about Dr P but don't see much about him here- maybe because all his patients are cured and out running around feeling healthy!! If you are a patient of his do you have any suggestions or tips on how I can get the most from this visit? Thanks

Don't ask for IV on your first visit. Hard to get him to do it.

Learn everything you think you may need to know about herbs and supplements; that may not be his field.

rest assured you are in wonderful hands. Bring someone with you so you can listen and they can take notes. He will have a lot to offer you. It is true that he doesn't deal with supplements, isn't opposed to them but doesn't treat with them. He does not jump to iv, but did prescribe for my son when he felt we needed to do it. He is very patient focused and always answers calls and questions.

Thank you...I am bringing my husband. I have POTS an IC so I am kind of afraid of most alternative treatments at this point - I never know what is going to cause a flare.

bcb - I just called and someone answered - was lucky I guess.

Also seeing Dr. P in less than a week. Very excited to start a real abx treatment protocol.

I've done my own herbs/supps research, this website and you all have helped greatly with that.

long road since 2010
abx got me over the hump
diet, detox, and herbs have got me to heal

He really doesn't use IV at all anymore; but will refer you out for it if necessary as a last resort. He is conservative and very concerned about patient safety.

Very down to earth. He is brilliant and has almost a photographic memory.

Have a focused list of questions; bring a written brief history if you can. He is very conscious of running on time.

He is awesome! We love him! VERY SMART. Always up on the current research. Big fan of infrared saunas now!

I saw him in 2002..he got me symptom free in 5 months...now I am going back after a new flareup this year..this man is exceptionally competant and proves that supplements are not that necessary in lyme treatment..(I know alot of people on here wont like that statement, but it's true )

Please keep details of your treatment experiences off the public board. Be very general in talking in the public areas. Thanks. I deleted out some comments. We need to protect our LLMD's.
