So i got my Amoxil today. My first prescription the bottle read Amoxicillin 500 MG CAP DAVA they were pink and orangish color.
The Amoxil i got today the bottle reads Amoxicillin 500 MG CAP AURO and the pills are pink and blue and have 45A on them.
Did they mix up my prescription or do the pills just come in different colors?
Thanks A

It is probably a different brand of amoxicillin. There are many companies that make generics. Pharmacies sometimes switch brands to get better deals.
This has happened to me a couple times. Though my pharmacist was kind enough to point out that it was the same med just different brand so different looking pill.

Remember that you can also call your pharmacist if you ever have any questions about your meds. Most are very nice, willing, and to help.

Funny you should say that hodge, I just filled my prescription at a different pharmacy and got the 45A pink and blue as well. Mine is usually pure yellow. Also smells kind of different, less of a sulfur smell.
