So I took my first dose of my abx tonight. Is there anythings I should start looking for?

I know the nurse mentioned maybe keeping a diary of my "symptoms" to show the doctor when I go back next month.

How soon do you usually start seeing changes?

Does herxing happen on all abxs?

Omnicef.

I'm having to watch this one because my mouth got all tingly and my tongue felt a bit big shortly after I took this.

I'm not sure if it was the meds or something I ate at the same time.

I'm allergic to a few abxs so I have to be careful.

I never was on that one. What is it for? What co-infections do you have? Did you eat somethng different at the time you took it?

As far as I know it's just for the basic "lyme". We didn't discuss co-infections at this appoint

ement since it was my first so I have no idea.

I didn't eat anything different but wasn't sure if maybe the combo might have caused it.

Maybe it's all in my imaginationg because I'm falling asleep sitting up. [Smile]

I believe Omnicef is a cephalosporin. Rocephin is in the same class but it is taken by IV.

Kissygoose - that's an excellent tip of keeping a diary. I started marking my calendar with a 1 to 6 scale of how I feel. I have a graph going and I can see the cycle of the illness. I also mark how I'm feeling etc.. I think it is very helpful to look at the good days and know that they will be around again.
