Good morning,

I am having a difficult time remembering or finding the correct Mepron dosage...

Is it 1 tablespoon twice a day

OR

1 teaspoon twice a day?

Thanks,
Melanie

THANKS Miss Merry! All of my things are still packed away and I couldn't find my old notes anywhere.

This may explain why I am feeling a tad 'off'. I've been doing a tablespoon twice a day!

M

Hey there Tree-hugger! Yes, I have been trying to gag down peanut butter with it in the mornings.

I'm about a week in this time around and think I will add ART next week.

Thanks all! I wonder what the half-life is on this and if I should perhaps skip tonight's dose and start at the correct dose in the morning?

There were times I had to skip doses because of herxing. I never really skipped more than one dose at a time and that was usually just once per month. Listen to your body. Coffee enemas were a daily thing for me during babs treatment.

The second time around, I took two teaspoons twice daily. Which antibiotic are you taking with it?

Good luck!

OK, so if many of you have taken 2 teaspoons, 3 teaspoons is not THAT too large of a dose then, right?

Anyway, I do think I will skip tonight.

Hey Sammi! Actually, I've been on Bicillin, but I'm taking a short break from that too. I know I am suppose to be doing other things as well, so I think I will take Zith with the ART next week.

(at least that is the plan tonight) [Smile]

I'm just really trying to maintain a place where I can still function enough to work, so I'm adding things in very gradually as needed.

Hi Melanie! I believe Mepron needs to be taken with certain antibiotics to work properly, so it is good you will be taking Zithromax with it.

I understand about adding things in gradually so you can continue to function.
