Hi, I've been drinking kambucha everyday while on ABX. Anyone have any experience of drinking this daily?

Yes, I make it and drink lots of it. It's good for detoxification and beneficial bacteria. It also is high in B vitamins. Other fermented foods are good for you as well - kefir and raw sauerkraut.

It's good for you, but is not a Lyme cure.

I stay with Kombucha hot tea every day. I tried
organic raw komucha w/ probiotics and enzymes, and I just couldn't get past the taste.

I love it, if you need to improve the taste put some organic vanilla and stevia into it.

Kefir is another good choice, if you can't have milk there are recipes for non-dairy kefir.

Believe it or not, you get used to the taste. The more fermented foods you eat, the less you enjoy sweets, and the more you enjoy the sour taste of the ferments.

I asked for Kombucha at my local health food store and no one knew what it was.

Where do you buy Kombucha and what is it exactly?

Yes, you do get used to the taste of fermented foods. Before this you couldn't pay me to eat Sauerkraut. I found Bubbies Sauerkraut (all natural) and I actually like the stuff now.

Six is right it helps you to loose the craving for sweets.

If I can plug my NDs new book "The Lyme Diet" by Mcfadzean. She talks about fermented foods in there.

lol, The words... get used to the taste. I'm not sure about that one. It would be like me getting used to the taste of liver, Which I have not accomplished.

No, I hate liver, always will, never will get used to the taste.

It's more like how you don't like the taste of liquor, then you do. LOL Liquor is also fermented!! Kombucha tastes like champagne that has gone a little bit vinegary.

I make my own kombucha, but many health food stores carry it in the refrigerator case. Strange that your store does not. Is there another in the area? Whole Foods also carries it.

I have 4 bottles in my fridge and can only drink a little a time. Working on the taste issue!

Yeah Whole foods has it. Most likely whoever you asked was not informed. They hire and do not train people anymore. I noticed so I always as more than one person or a manager...if I do not think the first answer sounds right.

I've recently started drinking it.

I'm wondering about candida though... would kombucha be a problem, or a help?

Should help fight candida because it has beneficial bacteria and yeasts like s boulardii.
