I believe my father had Lyme. He passed away before we found that out. He had Parkinson's.

Thanks for the info - I have an appointment with Dr. S on Monday who is an LLMD whom most think is very good at this stuff. Have any insight on him?

** edited to remove doctor's name **

CBerns - No doctors names, please. Initials are OK. Or last initial and city.

If you don't mind, could you edit your post? Click the pencil/paper icon.

My husband got PD diagnosis from every neurologist, but one, who finally threw in the towel saying "well, maybe infections are causing this". He is at a loss as to what to do of course, but Dr. K and several others know that I had Lyme and passed it to my husband and we are treating it as the combination of many problems which it really is. I learned to agree with our doctor that nobody gets Lyme unless the body is unable to defend itself because of too much toxin accumulation. Many people are infected and are not as ill as others, or not ill at all.

Hope you find a doctor who is prepared to deal with this multifactorial disease.

Be well.

Take care.

Never heard of that Dr. S. Looked him up on RateMD.com and he's an Infectios Disease doctor. They DO NOT usually have good record for testing, or treating tick diseases.

Hope he actually fully treats you...he's not on my LLMD list.

My list only has LLMDs I personally know someone who goes to them.

Good luck.
