I saw this article today and wonder if any of you know anything about this doc. I don't trust the mainstream medical viewpoint anymore and wonder what the truth is about this guy.

I am currently in the process of clearing the vaccine toxins from my twin 6 year old boys' brains through homeopathy and am seeing improvement in behavior in the one who was most problematic.

Thanks for posting.

Would you mind sharing how you are going about clearing the toxins?

My LLMD is beginning to work on that same issue with my own 6 year old, and I'd love for us to talk more, if you're up for pm'ing about it!

Lots of BigPharma + cloned ID docs involved in this - the first doc quoted:

"Paul Offit, chief of infectious diseases at the University of Pennsylvania." is this dude.

Let's ask this oh so brilliant doc where the autism is in Amish people ?

Tick Battler you are now doing the best thing to help the kids.

I am in Austin and I have met people that love this doctor's clinic. He resigned from the clinic so they could distance themselves from the bad publicity but I believe they still support his ideas.

I wanted to take my daughter to that clinic even though she doesn't have autism because a lot of what they do is similar to what needs to be done for Lyme. Instead, I found a DAN doctor that believes in Lyme.

I don't know enough about the whole thing to be sure, but I tend to believe it is similar to what the mainstream press says about LLMD's.

This is such a crime. Why won't people open their eyes and see what is happening here. Autism rates continue to skyrocket. Currently, the stats are 1 in 91 children. One year ago, it was one in 100, a year before that, 1 in 110.

When will this madness end?

I think vaccines have a place and can save lives, but they are ruining many more lives than they are saving. Safer vaccines are needed.

I have mixed feelings about vaccines. I think they have their place and are needed.

There was a case decades ago, I can't remember the disease, but the vaccine showed to cause some medical problem in a small % of people who took it. So they pulled the vaccine and 20x the amount died or got impared. So yes, reactions are possible, but it is sometimes worth it. Just like long term ABX for us lymies.

If there was a Lyme & co vaccine I would be the first to sign up and get it with my kids too!

Andrew Wakefield has been a true warrior for our children. My son developed normal until age two, then regressed into autism. He has toxic mercury levels, we've done natural med and chelation, he has high titers to MycoP, EBV virus, has active PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal infections) which we have treated for the last 2 1/2 years, now we find out he has Lyme Disease. I would say, he has a compromised immune system. I agree....where all of the Amish children with autism.

bcb- there was a lyme vaccine a few years ago and if you had taken it before you had lyme, you would have probably become sick with Lyme from it. It had to be pulled off the market because it was giving people lyme disease.

I think the most compelling point which was mentioned above is the fact that the Amish, who do not take vaccines, have hardly any autism. Seems obvious to me.

I wish I had never given my kids their vaccines. My twin boys had all of them and they have the psychiatric issues and hyperactivity and have had many lyme symptoms which overlap with autism. My 3 year old daughter also had lyme without the autism-like symptoms. She had only half as many vaccines and I stopped the MMR after giving her only the measles part of it. She lost her coordination for a day and that was enough for me to stop them completely. I wonder what would have happened to her if she had taken the entire shot at once.

It is interesting that my boys tested positive for high levels of methyl mercury (and vaccine toxins) in their brains through electrodermal testing and my daughter had nothing. Her brain was completely clear. Quite a coincidence.

We started out using homeopathy, but as my son would come down with any illness...he would regress again. Knowing it would take years and feeling he was slipping away, we stepped it up and found a DAN doc. I wonder if he's had Lyme for the last 11 years, may never know, but I'm eager to get him treated. Still 2 months away from our Lyme doc visit...not sure what to do prior to that visit, it's a helpless feeling.

Bewell,

I have been through the Lyme ringer with my entire family for the past 4 years. If it were me, I would try some herbs before going to the LLMD. I have recently spoken to a lyme literate herbalist who is also a nutritionist. She might be able to start your son on an herbal protocol to see if you can make some progress over the next two months until you see your LLMD. She can do a telephone consult and you probably wouldn't have too long of a wait to speak to her. She specializes in lyme.

You can pm me if you would like her number. I also sent you a pm with some questions I had about your son's mercury detox.

I think part of the problem with vaccines is that they give them to infants and toddlers. Just thinking about that seems illogical.

On top or that they give multiple vaccines at one time. Thats just crazy!
