I posted as I have been noticing a pattern. I thought like you something was up. Went to llmd because I was concerned. He said everything was fine..
Definitely more calf pain, arm pain, tingling when that flares up.
Are you left handed? I am.

Because my left side muscles became weaker, my body was twisted. My chiropractor moved the bone to the right place. Pilates reformer work (google "pilates reformer") balanced out the musculature. After some time having both done, my body is more balanced and even. This was after treatment for Lyme.

Do you think the pilates would help me with muscle weakness?
It comes and goes and often think what can be done to help.

Yes, when I was first diagnosed I thought my entire left side was going to be paralyzed. I had severe chest pain on the left side and severe swelling. At one point when I had an injection of Rocephin (before knowing I had Lyme) all of my joints were in complete pain on the left side.
I am happy to say that things have gotten much better on the left side. It is one reminder that I must be making progress even though I still feel ill often.

The left side of my body was destroyed when I fell ill. Very weak. I think Babesia is my biggest problem.

Yes, I think Pilates is very good for Lymies. It fits Dr. B's recommendations for exercise - moderate strength training and stretching. Many of my clients are recommended to it by orthopedic docs or chiropractors because of the balancing it does to the muscles.
Because much of the reformer work is done lying down, I think it's especially good for Lymies. I had terrible balance issues and wish I had discovered pilates when I was sick instead of afterward. It also takes so much energy to be upright.
Yet, at the same time, the workout is challenging.
