Hi,
I started to take LDN 2mg 1 week ago.
When I take it, in the next 4-5 hours I felt bad, I had insomnia, anxiety, airhunger....
But in mornings I had more energy.

But now I'm scared.
I feel terrible. My numbness is worse and it's hard to type. I have anxiety, sweating, heat waves... I feel I'm getting worse.

I was thinking about that maybe it's a huge herx but I really feel I'm getting worse.

Can LDN make my lyme flare? or What's happening with me?

Not sure about all those symptoms. I had sleep issues for awhile, but they finally subsided. I'm finall ready to tell them I'll go up to 3 mg.

Hope someone else may have some answers for you. The hard part is that everything affects ppl in many different ways.

Do you have regular herxes? Is this the time you would normally herx?

From what I understand, some people experience insomnia from LDN but it typically resolves in a couple of weeks for most.

What infections are you treating? What meds are you taking for them?

It is always good to let your doctor know what you are experiencing.

It's not my herx time, I herxed about 1.5 weeks ago, and I wanted to start taking LDN after my herx.

I stopped taking ABs 3 months ago because I went to another LLMD but I would like to start taking ABs soon. I only take LDN.

Another thought--LDN is an immune system booster. Maybe your immune system is functioning better and causing an increase in symptoms.

Sounds like a mega herx to me.
Did you call your llmd?
Maybe you need to back off a bit, especially if you're starting to want to get out of your body.

I'm on 4.5 mg. Just started 2 weeks ago. So far, fine. No side effects.

LDN isn't supposed to have side effects. It is supposed to build your immune system.

Sounds to me like it is working and you have die off.

I just hope it's a big herx.

Do you think is it better to stop it or
should I take a very small amount?
